Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited the Pakistan Pavilion At Expo 2020 Dubai, which begins on October 1st, 2021 till 31st March, 2022 in the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
According to a news release, Pakistan ambassador to the UAE, Afzal Mahmood, Pakistan Consul General Dubai Consulate, Ahmed Amjad Ali, and other senior embassy officials accompanied the Foreign Minister on the occasion.
The Foreign Minister arrived in Dubai, UAE, on Saturday for a three-day official visit.
During his visit to the expo, the Foreign Minister stated that the presence of the Pakistan pavilion in this year's international expo was a manifestation of Pakistan and UAE's decades-long friendship.
It also demonstrated the strengthened economic ties and bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various sectors, he noted.
Qureshi expressed his appreciation for the role played by a large number of Pakistani diaspora in the advancement and development of the UAE.
Furthermore, during the world expo, a 35000 square feet Pakistan pavilion was established.
